To see more photos with a little bit of red or a lot of red click on the badge at the top of my post to visit Mary at Work of the Poet. It's hard to tell what kind of red images you'll find!
The fingerprint effect is appealing to me. It's almost as if the fruit was coated with sugar. Neat effects with the use of different effects, and no two people see the same thing. A nice ruby post!
My daughter has a crabapple tree in her yard, and her dog hunts the ones that are starting to rot and eats them....he is so funny. BTW, I love the fingerpaint affect...it is really wonderful.
I love what you did with the photo in the first shot. Very cool. Nice photo in any event. I had some red pictures but I don't have the energy to post them tonight. I may skip this week or post something in the morning. As always, your pictures are beautiful.
Always learning more on Ruby Tuesdays. I've had crab-apple drops for my Bach remedies, but never actually knew what they looked like. Nice pics, nice fruits. I am weak for the fingerpainted one. From Felisol
Love your caption: Getting crabby :o) I don't think I ever saw a crab tree. Thank you for your advise about my laptop problem. I was so excited about getting the Photoshop. Now I just have to come up with plan B.
Hm... imagine this! We BOTH have crabby posts today! LOL! I'm thinking yours are prettier than mine! (I really like that painting effect!) Mine are more fun to watch though!
Carletta ... in the way that "we all" tend to think of submissive I would NEVER even entertain the idea! But through studying the subject in the bible, I'm finding out that it doesn't really MEAN what we think it does! Peter even says that we ARE equal to our husbands! It's long and drawn out - and I didn't come to give a 'lesson' -- I just want you to know, I have NO INTENTION of just laying down and giving IN!!! ROFL!!! But that isn't what's required either!

I like what you did with the photo. Have a great Ruby Tuesday and the rest of the week.
Love the paint effect you did Carletta! My first RT entry is up!
That is cool. You are getting more creative as you go along. I love that. Are you going to do crab apple jelly?
Like the pictures!
Crab apples are not something you see much, here in SC.
I love the original and the fingerpaint version. Very nice. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Hi Carletta, I like the looks of your frosted crabapples. I always eat them when they are still green, I didn't know they would turn red. :-)
..
Can send me some crabapples? ;p
MMMmmmmm, Those look real tasty. My mouth is watering up. I like the frosty effect too. MB

I've never played with PhotoShop, but that fingerpaint effect looks very interesting indeed. Happy Ruby Tuesday.
Crabapple trees are beautiful especially in blooms like this. Happy Ruby Tuesday!! :)
Well done, it's nice how you added that effect on it! Have a great Tuesday!
Mouth watering crab apples. I love the photo effects.
The tree is photogenic. I love that photo best.

love the fingerpaint version! adds character!
Nice paint effect ! The tree looks a little poor, lol !
WOW! Beautiful photos! The first pic is like a painting! Cool editing there!Mine is posted HERE. Happy RT!~
The fingerpaint effect works well with this for it gives it a sense of age or harvest appeal. Nice soft colours of the crabs. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Nice pics, nice fruits.

Looks gooooooood!
Usually I'd be partial to the closeup version, but for some reason having the crabapples sort of suspended in air makes the wide shot quite appealing.
Carletta: I sure hope you don't stay crabby all day. Nice capture of the little crab apple.
Fantastic, Carletta!
Your pictures are lovely. Sort of makes me think of Charlie Brown's
Christmas tree. Take care.
Nice editing of that crabapple photo, Carletta. I like the fingerpainting.
I like your comment on my husband's Ruby Tuesday post ... men? follow directions?
:-D
What great fun, Carletta! Makes me want to play around with a few photos. ;-)
Oh nice pics, I have 'a' crabapple in my Ruby Tuesday too.
Wow....love the shot of the apples against the blue sky! My camera and computer aren't speaking to one another...phhhhoooeyyy!
Hi Carletta. The crab apples are such a great color! Have a wonderful Tuesday!!
Great color and a stark contrast against the leafless tree. very nice.

I hope your hubby DOES answer the questions!
I love the effects - the sky looked like snow :)
I love the original photo best … but the ‘effects’ are very ‘kewl’ too! Beautiful …
Hugs and blessings,
Pretty cool effect. It looks frosty. :-)
We have deep red crab apples on our tree for the first time this year - still covered with leaves at the moment. I love the paint effect in the first.
Oh..I have to try some of the stuff in photo shop elements...Hope you are enjoying your retirement...
