Oh, this is so gorgeous - and a brilliant way to get Ruby Tuesday and Project Black into one shot. I LOVE it. Thanks for your kind comments at Raven's Nest. I really had a great time making "the tour."

I had a word in mind when I first saw this. And low and behold, it's the 5th word in Raven's comment. I'm using it anyhow. THIS IS GORGEOUS!. The color. The composition. The background. All of it. This is one your best shots EVER. I love it.

This is a very beautiful photo with the clouds in the background stating that it is definitely not a supermarket berry!

Yummy... We always picked a bunch of blackberries when we were kids and my mom would make jelly and jam. Later, after I got married and mom knew we were coming down for a visit she would have a blackberry cobbler waiting for us when we got there because she knew both my wife and I loved them. We would stop at a store just before we got there and buy some vanilla ice cream.

BTW, trains are not the only thing we tried to hit with rocks. :)

Oh wow...

Mine get like this and I wait one more day before picking the black one and go out the next morning to find them all gone. I suspect a bird but it might be a clever raccoon.

I have yet to get to taste one blackberry. I have several more ripe or just about ripe. I hope to try again soon.

Your photo is right on.

That is JUST beautiful! We have some blackberries in our yard, but I could NEVER get such a great shot of the sky behind it.

I can't decide if I'm more blown away by this black AND red photo or the fact you have SIGNS song playing! While riding around the campground Saturday morning, I was singing this song continuously because there were signs to not do this and that everywhere. I was actually going to take photos, and still will and make a complete blog post out of them!

Coincidence? I think not... :)

Outstanding shot for both projects!
