Tiny Yellow Trumpets

April is
when the earth
parades in a green so brand-new
you can almost hear it playing a tune,
turning tight buds
of forsythia bushes
into tiny yellow trumpets…
~Bobbi Katz

It was about 7:15 when I almost didn't catch these deer crossing the yard into the nearby woods. The photo is a little dark but this was yesterday's front yard wildlife!

While trying to capture the deer I turned my camera to the sky for the calming blues before sunset.

Well, Charlie, you've done it ... another beautiful post with three fantastic images, making me want to hang up my sandals and shorts and head for the hills!

Have an awesome Tuesday. Watch out for jokers, it is April Fool's Day!

Carletta: I love that you have the deer crossing through your yard. You are way in front of us this Spring. The last snow slowed up everything. All we've had is grey skies again this week.

3 Aces today, I do wish I got to see more deer in this area. Maybe in a week or so I will have a ride out early and see if I can capture some on camera.

Have a great Day

Ah, peace and quiet. I am envious of the solitude.... and why can't you have goats?

I love the photo of the tree against the sky. Might want to frame that one. The branches look like they're reaching up or begging the sky to open up for rain!

Before all the construction I used to see an occasional deer. You are so lucky to have your little piece of heaven!

Your photos are so beautiful! I keep repeating myself, but they are!

Glad to know you are a Tooth Fairy also - wink wink

Did you know that in Ohio they say that there will be 3 more snows after the Forsythia blooms? You probably do, but I didn't even know what it was until I moved here LOL
