Zooming in you can tell some of them have noticed me at the window with my camera. They probably stayed there for about forty-five minutes before getting up and wandering back into the woods.
About a week later on March 22 I caught one staring in my window. They are pretty comfortable in my yard and I'm grateful for the opportunity to see them up close.

just beautiful! love that they don't scatter easily!
Such pretty eyes! You don't suppose this one was wearing makeup, do you?
I can't believe how many are there, Carletta! What a lovely capture!
Wow! What a gift ~ all those beautiful deer in your yard and magnificent photography ~ ^_^
I think it's great when I see a few baby bunnies in the garden but wow, deer! Amazing shots, they are beautiful animals :)
Lucky Lady my deer.
They are so pretty! I'm surprised they are so tame.
Our local herd has doubled in size this winter - over 40 of them now and even though we are always aware that they will potentially be in certain locations, I am still startled when I head down the drive way and they are immediately beside me in the yard; or the time we were arriving home late and on the 'alert' the entire way in only to find them standing IN the driveway. Sneaky Sneaky!
Great close-up shot of the peeping tom.
Such sweet faces :)
They are so adorable looking! What a treat!
Forty-five minutes!!! Ours are not quite that comfortable. Great shots.
Very nice shots.
Beautiful creatures, Carletta... I love watching the deer when they are around here... I will show a couple of pictures of them in the snow on my blog post on Friday.
Hugs,
Betsy
You sure are one lucky woman to have all this wildlife come visit you!!!!
They're very alert critters. I think they can probably hear every foot step in your house. It's hard to imagine with my hearing.
Such beautiful soft but very alert eyes ...excellent captures Carletta.
What a wonderful sight to see just outside your window!
How lucky you are to have them stay for so long! They are so pretty! Love the close up! xoxo

KIND THANKS FOR VISITING.
They must feel pretty safe laying around like that for so long. I've never seen that many do that so close to a home. Great photos!
I find it interesting that the deer are comfortable in your yard. The deer around here bolt at any sign of human movement. You did get some great photos.
How totally awesome! I love seeing deer in the wild. I think it's so cool you have them in your yard. I bet you live in the country huh?
How cool! I have never seen a group resting like that before!! Great shots! Happy weekend!
