It's time once again for Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Below are my ideas for the prompts this week. I'm not as happy with the results as I'd like to be but there's always next week. I think blogger is cooperating again so click on the first picture and enjoy the slideshow.
1. OUTSIDE
This was the sunset at the end of my driveway this past Monday evening. It was a joy to be OUTSIDE and enjoying these cotton candy colored clouds behind the silhouetted TREES.
2. CHATTERBOX
This little guy tends to sit high in the TREES and CHATTER away. Sometimes it's at the other squirrels, or the cat on the deck or the birds. The one thing that keeps him quiet is a nut in his mouth. He was sneaking across the back of the deck with this one. He got the walnuts off the trees months ago so I guess he's digging up his stash now.
3. COMFORT
I know many people think they're ugly. I totally agree that they can't compare with the red soled Christian Louboutins or trendy Manolo Blahnik stilettos but hey; I'm old, I have terrible knees and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.
4. IN THE KITCHEN
Speaking of age.... My sweet Hubby found this coffee cup back in February and gave it to me for my Valentine Birthday. It is now my favorite cup IN THE KITCHEN. I love that little cupcake inside the rim. Those cookies - Dulch de Leche by the Girl Scouts - YUM!
5. TREES
Nothing really pretty here in the way of the TREES just yet. All the branches are still bare. I was hoping my plum tree would be in bloom but it's not quite there yet. Here are the walnut tree branches against a blue and white sky with a pretty little cardinal to brighten things up.

I just turned 50 last week and I am not comfortable enough with it to have it on my coffee cup -cupcake or no...we have a little cardinal that comes to partake of the seed on the porch and I love to see him and his girl.

You've given yourself a tough job! Ordinarily I'm not a big fan of squirrels, but this sneaky beaky little guy catches my attention.
chatterbox made me laugh! love the coffee mug, but it would make me crave cupcakes all the time! (which wouldn't take much, btw...)

You are completely selling yourself short - these are excellent choices for this week's words. I will confess, there is an aqua-blue pair of crocks in the top of my closet. Only to be worn around the house - and quite comfee. Your tree shots are magnificent. Caught myself some silhouettes last evening as well - probably post them later this week (without the cotton candy clouds thought - nice extra).

I too am all about comfortable shoes. In fact I need new sandals this year because the ones I used to wear hurt my back now, so the hunt is on.
