Scavenger Hunt Sunday

CHOCOLATE
Since last Monday was my Valentine Birthday I have to post the box of chocolate candy that Hubby got for me. This is it on the dining room table just where he left it for me with pink silk rose petals scattered across the top of the box and the table. The real roses he got for me are posted here.

NUMBERS
Roman Numerals That Is!

CANNED FOOD
My stacked cans of tomato soup were rather plain so I played with the adjustment levels and I'm pretty happy with my 'pop art' homage to Andy Warhol.

MUSIC

This is a replica of an old record player my husband bought me a couple of years ago so I could play some old 45's from my teenage years. As you can see it also plays old vinyl LP's. I added a Kim Klassen texture to make the photo look old and grainy.

STACKS

Stacks of money!

I love the canned "pop art". After grocery shopping, I had thought I should have bought tomato soup and done something like that. Oh well. Yours turned out great! :)

Loved your take on the prompts - I never thought of a stack of coins. I really like that vintage record player.

Hi Carletta, I always enjoy your Photo Scavenger Hunt... I grew up with an old phonograph like the one you pictured... Oh how I loved my 45 records (had a bunch of them) and the 33 1/3 vinyl ones (had a bunch of them also)...

That was sweet that hubby gave you candy for Valentine's Day.

Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy

You did a wonderful job on this week's scavenger hunt. I think your tomato soup cans are every bit as artistic as Andy Warhol's. I like that record player as well.

I have grown to anticipate seeing Scavenger Hunt Sunday's photos.
I especially like your old-timey record player. I bought one for my daughter; now I'm yearning for one for me since Indigo reminded me of 1950s "Blue Indigo."

You still got a box of candy from Valentine's day? You aren't eating enough...that would probably last me at least 2 days. :)
