Next step is to dip your dried roses in wax/parafin, the look is really pretty. It gives them an interesting composition and they last alot longer holding them together.
For the love of roses...have a great week you long haired maiden...from one to another...ha!
Lovely....I got a dozen yellow roses once. Sigh. Long time since that has happened.
Your cardinals and hawk below make me a touch envious. I did see a new bird this morning. Not sure what it was but did get a fuzzy photo. Nice to see something not a crow for a change. Hope you are staying warm and safe.
My computer is not doing well, alas, but better than yesterday, so I'm very grateful.

I've never tried to dry roses, but after seeing your picture I may give it a try.
Those are beautiful. I have two boutonnières and a corsage from yesterday, maybe I should try to dry them.
I have never had dried roses, those ones are pretty though.

Those are beautiful. I never would have thought that they would be that beautiful.
Lovely. Did you preserve these yourself? My efforts have been much less successful.
Hi everybody,
Quilly asks if I did them myself and yes they are mine from a couple of bouquets from this past year.
Beautiful composition - I like how one rests upon the other.
Carletta, these are truly beautiful, a very nice way of preserving roses. Your photo is a treat on a wintery day.

This is almost a monochrome picture. Really beautiful, Carletta.
Carletta: It is great to get a remembrance of warmer days through these dried roses.

Very beautiful, Carletta.
I love drying roses. I just hang them upside-down and that works pretty well.

Lovely dried roses.
A super shot of this lovely flower. It must have been gorgeous when alive as it still retains its beauty when dried.
