Absolutely wonderful pictures, Carletta!!
I found out about the door challenge and even looked for some (I actually collect windows, though, lol) but then I felt the pressure=obligation and decided to play it low key this week.
Your front door is beautiful and very inviting, and your hydrangea is marvelous!!

Each small flower that makes up the whole head of the Hydranges is so perfect. MB

You have a talent for sure. I love the way you combined the two memes. The hydrangea is so pretty and I'm sure it must smell wonderful. Nice music too!

Hallo Carletta, thank you for visiting my blog!
Of course I could smell your hydrangeas! The pictures are so well arranged!
I looked through you blog and enjoyed the atmosphere of your photographs. The bridges are wonderful! I have posted one picture of the Danube with a similar bridge and atmosphere. Funny! If you want to see it?

Wow. I think that door glass is prettier than the flowers. Is that possible?

My flower is posted at > Thunder Maker

What a beautiful and welcoming front door, wish I could visit :-) I love hydrangeas, growing up my cousins had them all around their house and it was a beautiful sight!

Hydrangeas are lovely and so photogenic! On the older Victorian style homes and many of the Ontario farmhouses they are planted right outside the door - right in keeping with your photo series today!

I LOVE your front door! That is the kind I want... I'm in the market for one... maybe in Spring! The hydrangeas are gorgeous too!

Fun post combining the two memes. The white hydrangeas are beautiful, and love your front door.

I can smell the hydrangea and I'm drawn to your lovely door. Thanks for sharing part of your home for the first day of opening doors. Great idea.

Hydrageas look so exotic but, believe it or not, a few varieties grow here in Ontario too. I love them because they bloom for such a long time. ;-)

I wish I could grow hydrangeas here. I think the door to my home is my favorite door even if it is not very a interesting door. You have a lovely front door.

My doors aren't up yet. I am still waiting for a Punny Monday winner! This door is lovely! IS that really your house? I like the little gate up onto the porch, too.

Beautiful door and flower :)

I like the swinging doors leading to the door on the house (if that makes sense). That's nice perspective.

Carletta: What a great post with the door, music and the White Hydragea. You did an open up job here. Charlie Rich could sing a balad.

Carletta, this is a great post. I love your front door, and always hydrangea!! I get a chuckle out of how you seem always to choose music to match the post. Haha.

Beautiful photos for the themes Carletta. What an inviting path to your door. I also did not know some hydrangea had a fragrance. Ours are finished now - they are truly an amazing shrub when in full bloom.
