Sky Watch Friday: Bridging The Gap

This is crossing the Ohio River coming back from Belpre, Ohio to Parkersburg, West Virginia. I posted photos of the entire bridge and the railroad bridge you see beside it to the left in my post on Monday. (here)
This and the next photo were taken as I walked across a walkway attached to this old B&O Railroad Bridge in Marietta, Ohio. I posted about this bridge on Wednesday. (here) In this photo you can see where the Muskingum River converges with the Ohio River.
Looking from the middle of the bridge across the Ohio River to Almost Heaven West Virginia.

I'm enjoying your bridge shots so much. I actually came here via skywatch this time. I don't do that on the same blog that I do bridges on but your idea of combining them is good.

Great pictures of a great structure. The river and never ending country beyond. Look closely to see all the different details playing together, here a bit of rust, the muddy water and a never ending sky. Nature and man made linking together.Great SW. Thank you.

Love your Denver music in the background. I like bridges with walkways and the views they give, looking both up and down. Nice perspectives for a sky view.

Thank you for your recent comments on my Monarch butterfly and Osprey posting. They are much appreciated.

Hi Carletta, Happy Skywatching. I like your bridge pictures, I'll bet you were happy getting to that bridge back over to W.Va.
We like W.Va, I was there for the first time a year and a half ago. It was the last of the 50 states for me. We found your state to be very pretty.
Thank you for peeking at my church spire and moon in the cloudy evening sky.
