These are my Grandson's boots. Little Sammy caught a virus at Christmas time and couldn't come visit Grandma and Grandpa as planned. However, this past weekend he arrived just after our first substantial snowfall of the year. His Mommy and Daddy had brought his snowsuit so he could go outside and Grandpa ran to the store to buy a sled.
Here he is being pulled by his Daddy for his first sleigh ride. Underneath that hood is a head of pretty blond hair to go with those beautiful blue eyes.

What a Cutie Pie, Carletta... I'm so glad you got to see him ---and having the snow was an added joy.... Bet he enjoyed that sled... Love those eyes!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
what fun for him and his dad! gorgeous eyes!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful small snow shoes with red laces and even red chequered lining.
ReplyDeleteAhh. Bekonging to the sweetest little boys I've seen in a long, long time.
I'd knit a cap to protect those fragile ears though...
Oh my, did I have problems getting my girl to wear a cap before the fashion finally changed.
Those long nights with a child with ear inflammation still haunt me.
These boots are great, the plaid flannel interiors will keep the small feet warm as he plays in the snow. Too bad about the infection, at least his antibodies are being built up so he will be healthier when he is older...He is cute, and as we can see, at his age of discovery, he has discovered the thrill of the sleigh. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love little kids in snowgear, and his boots are practical but very stylish.

thanks for sharing.
Well, Carletta, for sure he is enjoying the sled ride and playing in the snow! The trip to the store was worth it a hundred times over.
ReplyDeleteI still have my sister's and my old sled. It was a smaller sized Arrow. It would be 70 years old now and still in fairly good shape. But we don't have snow for it down her in the Houston area.
Nice to see you in blue for a change!
Happy MidWeek Blues! :)

ReplyDeleteThose red laces make the boots outstanding!
ReplyDeleteBOY IN BRIGHT RED SHORTS
Boy in bright red shorts,
With a shirt of blue,
Strolling on the Malecón —
I wish I were you;
Carefree and content,
Nothing much to do,
Chillin’ in your bright red shorts
And your shirt of blue.

Thank the Lord that Sammy is doing better. That's cool that you play with him. My grandparents didn't play with me, but I think I would have liked it. I had some wonderful aunts and uncles who made up for that. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe macro of the little boots is such an artistic shot. It is so visually aesthetic.
Huge cute factor going on here!! Love his blue eyes!
ReplyDeleteCute shoes for cute little boy:)
