Wild Birds

Taken through my sunroom window on a rare sunny afternoon this past week. As I type this it has been snowing since Monday morning. Looking to have 10-14 inches of snow when all is done.

***UPDATE: It's cold this morning - 9 degrees - but we only got about six inches of snow. The sun is out shining brightly and the snow sparkles.

Such a clear and beautiful capture of this beauty, and how great to be able to see these Jays through your window.
Regards.

Great capture, Carletta!

We only got about an inch or so of snow. It is that dry, squeaky kind.

Great capture of a blue jay. Blue jays seem the thrive in nasty weather. At least they sound as if they like it.

Great picture of the Jay!!!! Glad you didn't get as much snow as had been predicted... Six inches is plenty --don't you think?

We got that terrible Ice Storm here... NOT FUN at all...BUT--I have been enjoying feeding my little birds during these frigid temperatures.

Hugs,
Betsy

Your blue jay is so beautiful; we don't ever see these beauties where we are. Only scrub jays in Oregon.

I listened to all the snow news on the radio this morning; so awful. I'm glad you didn't get hit as bad and I feel sorry for those who are right in the middle of it.

He's quite a "looker". I love those blue feathers. So sorry about your snow but at least you didn't get as much as was predicted.
