Great story with the kids and their reactions. I did see reindeer on the Mackenzie Delta. There were about 700 of them in a couple of herds spread out over 1o sq. mi. They just slowly moved to more pasture.
Funny but regal looking animals, aren't they? I saw a great herd of them when crossing Canada from Vancouver to Montreal on the now, I think, extinct Canadian Pacific train. And that sure was one long interesting train journey.Don't the antlers at some stage fall off and new ones appear??Kids all sure love zoos.CheersColin (Brisbane.Australia)Weather report: 9.00am Friday 7th.Spring sure has sprung here, but some rain now would be good.
