The Tree Has Eyes

My computer space is in the sunroom which has a set of sliding glass doors on one wall and a large picture window on another. When the temperature drops outside I'm often cold sitting at the computer while I do my blogging.
Hubs came home one day with a heat lamp that he clipped to a piece of furniture behind me. One day last week I got up from the computer and noticed the light reflected in my picture window. I grabbed my window thinking I might get a reflection shot of some kind. As I played with the angle of the camera and the reflection I found the oak tree outside looked as if it had eyes. Since the window is double paned there were actually two reflections and pointing just right with the camera gave me the fun result you see here.
One more thing. Hubs playfully calls the lamp my 'chick light'. You see it's really a brooder light used for keeping baby chicks warm! And, all that lovely snow you see is now gone!

Hi Carletta, That is a great reflection. You did SUPER.... Bet it is kinda cool in your sunroom --but the view has to be pretty, looking out at the snow.

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

That is a neat photo because it doesn't look like a reflection. Keep warm chick.

Your hubby wants to keep his chick warm. :)

Interesting picture...all that tree needs now is a nose and mouth. :)

Could be celebrating the Chinese New Year with red lamps pinned to it.

That is a funny one... It looks a little like owl's eye, in fact... Fitting perfectly with the theme of the tree, of course !

Yo have an inventive hubby! Since my hubby is that way too, I know how blessed you are:)
My daughters both thought that all hubbies are like that, but they found out the hard way that that is not necessarily true:):) Keep WARM in the weekend!

So far, the best post I have ever seen on this meme! Cool photo! And the red lamp stands out in the snowy background.

Great picture -- Your husband is sweet and very inventive to come up with that perfect warming light. With the "chick light" added, your room is a perfect one -- I love looking out the window when I blog. (I think the reflection I have here washes out my pix sometimes, so I need to look at them in other light before I post.) Still it's worth it to have the view. I hope the melting snow means spring is on the way for y'all.
