The ripening berry offers a rainbow of rubies including mauve, pink and purple. Captured at the peak of color, is a pie in the future??

Oh I love blackberries!
Especially blackberry jam on fresh croissants, with my morning cup of tea!

Yum -- that does say it all. I miss Oregon, where I'd be picking these pretty soon from our "front yard."

There's nothing better than fresh blackberries.... Many people like blueberries better---but I love blackberries... I love to go out in the woods and pick the wild ones...They are SO sweet and delicious.

Great pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy

Love the berries. I planted four plants last year. I have a few flowers and berries this year. I need to be patient. Just hope I live long enough to see the Grandkids eating them right from the bushes.
Nice Ruby shots.

Peace.
