Sepia Scenes and Yard Art

A few readers may recognize The Incredible Mr. Limpet who appeared in my Weekend Reflection shot a few weeks ago (here). I took these two shots the same day as the reflection one. We inherited Mr. Limpet when we moved to this new home almost three years ago. He sits and guards the larger of two fish ponds in our yard.
Some of you know I am dealing with a knee injury and still haven't been able to venture far from my own yard so I've had to resort to what's at hand. However, after a shot in my knee today (YES, very painful) I hope to be on the mend much faster as soon as the headache and nausea from the shot goes away. :)

For more Sepia Scenes join Mary here and for more Yard Art join Mary here. She'll be so glad you came by.

You need to get better soon. The fish is wonderful yard art, he can protect the ponds with his mssibe bronze style. Sepia adds a stylish glow to anything in the yard...

I don't know if you remember my reflection shot I showed from my brother and sister-in-laws house in Seattle back in January. They have something very similar to him :)

Mr Limpet is pretty darn cute! I wish the things that I'd inherited over the years were that charming.

I missed that your had knee troubles. Please get better soon. Our cross-street neighbor just had a shot in her knee -- she said how painful it was. But she and Dr think it will work. Hope yours does too. Get better!!!

Mr Limpet is adorable! You could almost mistake him for a merman singing on a rock to woo his mermaid!
Sorry to hear about your knee! Hope the warming weather helps the healing process!

Carletta, I sure had not realized you had that serious of a knee injury...I am not sure what I thought had happened but figured when you mentioned it that you would be over it in a few days, but if I had thought the term injury does sound more serious. I sure hope you recover soon and don't have to take too many shots. They sound painful.

BTW, I like Mr. Limpet.

Love your fish and the name is perfect.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I have to get cortisone shots in my knee and they can be very painful. Hope you do not need to get many more.
