I was hoping to have some macros of my newly bloomed daffodils this week but I've been housebound with a knee injury that has been quite painful and doesn't allow for very much walking. Therefore, I haven't taken any new photos in over a week. I hope you won't mind a couple more shots of the forsythia I had brought in a couple of weeks ago and forced to bloom.

I'm sorry to hear about your knee injury. I hope you getting better and on the road to recovery with it. Carletta these are just beautiful. I love them. So soft looking and just gorgeous :)
These are wonderful photos no matter how many times you photograph the same plant! Each is unique! Your macro is excellent and the backgrounds make that fabulous yellow pop! Now...you take care and get that knee back in "running" order! I wish you well!
I'm sorry about your injury. I'm still having trouble with my hip, too. No fun! Your pictures are great, though.
We could never get tired of pictures of such beautiful forsythia blooms. I hope your knee is soon better. Take care and God Bless You.
I love Forsythia blooms, Carletta. Ours hasn't even thought about blooming yet---but we haven't had much spring weather up here on the plateau.
Hope you have a great Monday.
Hugs,
Betsy
I hope your knee feels better soon!
Great shots of the forsythia!
Lovely composition and depth of field.
Lovely blooms Carletta. I hope your knee heals soon.
Great Macros, makes one see the forsythia flowers in a different way. Not knowing I would think they are pretty big ones

I am so sorry about your knee. I hope you're back in dancing shape soon. I said a prayer.
Little Forsythia is lovely in her yellow dress.
Hope your knee is better. My knee was scraped against a rock when I went climbing. It is nothing compared to yours.
I don't mind in the least! Sorry to hear about your knee, too. I hope it heals well.
I don't mind, these are gorgeous, but I do hope your knee will get better soon!
Great shot love it!

I like these a lot Carletta. The individual flowers are beautiful and we usually see them as masses of yellow. I like the way you approached these.
Ow -- bummer about the knee. Get better soon. We can't see too many pictures of beautiful forsythia though. Thanks!
Sorry you are having knee problems...I hope they don't last long!
Oh, I meant to say, I love these photos...both are really nice.
Knee injuries seem to be going around. :( Hope you're back to normal soon. :) Beautiful yellow flowers!
I'm so sorry to hear about your knee pain, Carletta. Take good care of yourself. I had arthroscopic surgery on my right knee. It does get better..
I love this macro shot. I posted an early forsythia blossom a few weeks ago but not as detailed as yours. Very nice.
I will never get tired of your beautiful forsythia. Hope your knee is feeling better!
Sorry to hear about your pain. I will pray that your knee heals quickly.
Nothing worse than a knee injury. Been there done that. You take care of yourself, put your feet up, and ice your knee!
Love the macro shot of this. I really do need to get a macro lens. Did you see my shots of the desert blooms? Not as sharp as these that's for sure!
Carletta this is just lovely! I love the rock formation on the side of the pond and the reflection is wonderful!
Sorry about your knee and the limitations it imposes. Hope you're feeling better and regain more mobility soon. These blossoms are beautiful ;-)
Happy Easter to you and yours!
Hugs and blessings,
