I took this through my sunroom window so the image is a little grainy when you enlarge it but if you do you can see the cardinal has just about all he can eat crammed in that little orange beak.
That's nice, Carletta, that you can see these guys so good from your sunroom. It looks to me like they are talking with their mouths full. Happy RT! ..
So pretty! Cardinals don't live in the Pacific Northwest, so we never had one on a birdfeeder. But on our first trip East I was so excited to spot my first and I still love to find them when we travel -- they're an exotic species to us! I do miss having bird feeders.
AWww..they are just so cute..what beauties! I love how they turned to face the camera..ha ha..awesome! I love cardinals..but never see any here..so it is a treat to see them! Lovely! Happy RT! Kiki~
I did enlarge it and I did indeed see all the seeds! He sure is greedy! LOL! Although the cardinal is a common bird, I still love to see his flash of red in the trees and bushes!

The Cardinal is a wonderful capture. He knows the best place to rest and eat - just outside your window, of course!
Not just one but two happy birds! Love your shot of the cardinal. I have been meaning to do a watercolor painting of a cardinal - such handsome birds.
Ahhh, lookie. You have my favorite, a cardinal, up. Cheeky little guy on the left moving in too, I see.
Lovely ruby capture ;-)
Sweet birdies at the feeder!
Hugs and blessings,
Great closeup shot, Carletta. I enlarged it and saw the seeds in the cardinal's beak. I can't tell the photo is through a window.
Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Very nice my friend. I love it. What a wonderful photo :)
I guess the cardinal was afraid you wouldn't refill the feeder and wanted to get as much as he possibly could.
A rather full beak, indeed! Great shot! We don't have cardinals here; they are bright and beautiful!
Always enjoy seeing the cardinals
Great capture, Carletta. My photos through the window never turn out this good.
Great capture - cardinals are one of my favorites!
I've not this close to a cardinal, he's such a cutie one and so is his color.

What a beautiful bird!
Celebrated it with Dad
Wonderful capture. Cardinals are such beautiful birds.
There are five pair of red birds in our back yard and I never tire of photographing them. I've even used one as my Ruby Tuesday badge.
Your cardinal is beautiful!
I saw the biggest, fattest blue jay yesterday, and it was amazing!
oh, what a wonderful photo!
Beautiful shot of the birds... The header picture of your blog is just stunning...
Pixellicious Photos
What a beautiful shot. I love the red of the cardinal.
I can't put a bird feeder out here - all I'd do is entice the pigeons to keep pooping all over my laundry lines!
Excellent photo. And I just gotta add --- your bird feeder is so 'clean' looking. Ours is grubby all the time with tons of birds. LOL

This is absolutely beautiful and precious. Cardinals such are such a gorgeous feathered friend!!!
Yes, if the male (which this is) is helping to feed babies, he can cram a lot in his beak and cheeks.
This one made me smile! Adorable!
Gorgeous ! I wished we had red birds here !
the little bird is so gorgeous. great close up.
Pretty shot! We had lots of cardinals around last winter, but I haven't seen any this year.
Yes, he does!
I love cardinals. We have plenty of them around here. I wish I had a picture window to watch them from.
I too love cardinals, The male has such a cheerful color, much welcome in these dreary days!
I love Cardinals, and they are an especially welcome sight in this gloomy winter we're having.

How cute that is! And, what a little piggy that cardinal is...such pretty colors too.
I think I need to place feeder close to a window, You got a great shot!
cardinals are so beautiful, we don't get them over here of course...
Carletta, it is a gorgeous shot of the male cardinal.
I did enlarge it and I did indeed see all the seeds! He sure is greedy! LOL! Although the cardinal is a common bird, I still love to see his flash of red in the trees and bushes!
Lovely! This does not look like it was taken through a window. You reminded me that I need to get birdseed or I'm not going to have any birds!
