The leaves a fewer and fewer. Trying to eke another day of life as it clings to the vine. The shadow shows a bit of life in the waning Autumn sky. A pretty leaf in the harvest yellow. A fitting capture prior to the cold winds...
I really like "...where the blacktop ends and the autumn of my life begins. The mood - "forever in blue jeans." Great shadow shot with the yellow. I had read your post on "Quilt Barns" and have been looking for them ever since here in Ohio.

You never cease to amaze me. What beautiful photos :) Well done my friend :)
I felt that the leaf was placed there by an artist and in a way it was. Like an arrow waiting to fly.

Incredible shots, as always, Carletta! Fragile, delicate, clinging to the last bit of light!
Enjoy!

You got 2 memes in one? §;-)
Very crispy shot. Seems you still enjoying your sunny days.
Have a great day!
They are both pretty but the second is especially fascinating.
Long Overdue
The shadow is lovely, but that little wisteria leaf made it's own perfect little stained-glass effect mosaic and stole the show.
Beautiful captures, both exquisite in their own way!
So this is what I have to look forward to? Our wisteria are stilled leafy but not for long.
That first photo is really wonderful. I like the crisp yellow contrasted with the shadows.l It's beautiful.
Purty! Real purty! I like it!

Love the autumn shadows!
Happy SSS to you.
Oooh that second one is especially sweet! Yellow + shadows is such a lovely combination!
Such a delicate and perfect shadow in the first image, especially. And, the yellow...Wow!
The first one is great!

WONDERFUL combination of yellows and shadows ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
I like this Carletta, so creative and I'm counting the leaves, there are 5 of them.
A work of natural art brought to us by a natural artist.
Carletta, these are lovely!
An eye candy...beautiful compositions!
These are every bit as beautiful as the one you posted for Mellow Yellow. If only fall would last a month longer.
