The capture of the shadow is nice, the more wonderful thing the pastel leaf that is still around, sitting proudly on the branch. The feisty leaf doesn't yet know that Winter is not far away. The poignant view of the singular leaf is nice, a metaphor of the loss before the gain of Spring...
What a delightful shadow shot, Carletta! Have to agree with what Ralph says and he does say it so well!Have a great weekend!Sylvia
Awesome my friend. :)
I like the simplicity of this shot. The background branches are just there, making background and emphasizing the leaf with its shadow.
It's so delicate looking and ya know it's holding on fast to that last leaf.
I love the statement on your header...how true! The little red leaf is so serene and so true to a season, as each beauty falls one by one...I love fall, but it also makes me sad...the end of summer.
I love it too...so creative of you to have spotted that.
It seems so forlorn, yet it is luminous. Nice shot!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I like this picture very much.
Oh that is nice Carletta..at first I thought the twig was in front of the leaf.....Michelle
how fortunate that you found this scene to share with us. thank you
Very nice shadows and I adore the colours of the maple leaf!
Nice shot Carletta, very autumnal too. Thanks for sharing:)
I love it too.You are so artistic. This shot is well done, like proffs...Have a wonderful Sundayxoxo
that's a lovely photo, the leaf looks quite lonely there!
you have found a lovely shadow in a tiny place.
Lovely find ;--)Thanks for sharing this little bit of Fall color with interesting shadows. I also enjoyed your Weekend Reflections and wish you could send some of that wet stuph our way here in Southern California.Hugs and blessings,
Great shadow on a lovely RED leaf, Carletta! Happy SSS! :)
Beautiful leaf color, and I love the shadow of the branch!
A spot of warm colors fighting the coming of the winter!
The colour of the leaf is wonderful. The shadow cast by the twig makes it even nicer.
Nice shot. I like the sharp shadow on the leaf and then the softer shadows behind. Trees in front of my house are completely bare already. Sigh.
The shadows and reflections are wonderful.
What a beautiful shadow shot, it is so simple and clean. I love how you capture it.Judy
