Great shots. I don't participate in mellow yellow but I did get my second week of nature notes up. It really does look like the duck is tending the flowers at the park in the shots you took.
Everything looks better with a mallard hen...lol..I wanted to thank you for your very kind comments regarding some of the meme efforts. I am glad that the work that goes into it is noticed. I am always trying to present info in a clear and simple way so that I won't discourage people from reading it. Must be the special education teacher thing...@:O --Michelle--
Hi Carletta, Nice blog, great thoughts, shots, fine writing. A bit too much unused space on the left side and at the bottom after scrolling down, it would look much better. This can be fixed, though. Cheers, Joe
I found you on blogs of note. This picture had a huge effect on me! I'm even surprised at the depth of my own reaction. Thank you for sharing you're wonderful art.
Love your site! As soon as you did Country roads and Forever in Blue Jeans I knew we were kindred spirits. Your photography bring joy to my heart.... do you have a place where I can follow you? Then I could see all the new stuff as my blog would notify me... deborah

I just love this little story. Feathered friends to the garden's rescue. Why not.
Clever idea for this week's Mellow Yellow Monday! Love both photos and appreciate the smiles you generated in me this morning.
Hugs and blessings,
Beautiful shot! As a gardening obsessive, especially loved the shoots coming out of the soil. Great blog! Vikki at www.survival-cooking.com

The duck looks rather like the overseer, do not touch my crocus!
