Very impresive sepia effect!

The sepia adds much to the weathered look on the barn. I think that red is a classic color on a barn, but the the weathered wood (maybe with a light goat of urethane to protect) probably reflects what a barn would look like back then. This is a classic!

Hello, Carletta,
Pretty shot, clever sepia.
I don't have the skills to make it only half.
It was so right on this picture.

In Norway barns have been red for the last century or more.
The older ones were protected with tar.
Old age will make them look like this barn.
The barns I'm thinking of being smaller, not so elegant and functional in design.

I like the America I learn to know in these photoblogs.
Pearls.

Gorgeous sepia shot. I love what digital allows us to do. traditional photo techniques would not allow for this. Very nicely done and thanks for stopping by my blog.

I would love to have been there for that barn raising. Can you imagine? It's huge! The sepia tint is wonderful, Carletta. Thanks for sharing the image. I think there should be a sub-meme called "Sepia Scene Barns".

The sepia effect is perfect for an old barn..I have no idea how you were able to keep the sky blue, but the contrast is great.

I like the editing results a lot.
