Camera Critters: A Cardinal Story

(Enlarge images for best viewing.)
Sometimes I like to sit up in the branches and just survey what's going on down below.
Sometimes I get the munchies and fly down to the ground for a seed or two.
I especially like hanging out in this flowerbed underneath my human's feeder. Why you ask?
Because you never know who you might meet. Look at her isn't she gorgeous!!!
Most days though I just feel like I'm beating my head against a wall.

I am so glad there was no Cardinal sin! ;)

I have a couple that likes to hang out in my back yard, but they are so camera shy that I can't even approach the window without frightening them away.

Carletta, these are wonderful! Such vivid red! I sure enjoyed them... I wish I could capture them through our window...I keep thinking about getting out Roger's blind to try but it has been too cold the past few days.

That's a good post. I like how you narrated it from the bird's point of view.

I love cardinals. I also think the females are beautiful with their yellow tint mixed in with the red.

I know ratmammy said the same thing - but it's true!!

We have loads of birds around, but no cardinals.
