This wonderful old truck was sitting in a neighborhood adjacent to the local grocery store in my community. Sitting in my Jeep at the store I thought it was backed up to the pine tree. It wasn't until I drove over into the neighborhood to try and get a photo that I noticed the tree was actually standing in the back of the truck.
I converted the original color photo to sepia, bumped up the red balance just a little and added a grainy texture to arrive at the effect you see here.

That truck would have made a sweet photo even without the novelty of the tree!
I'm with Quilly. The truck would have rated a ton of shots if it had been in my cross-hairs... with or without adornments of any kind.
And it's a totally appropriate subject for sepia. Wonderful shot!
Marvelous capture! What a great old truck, and the tree in the back is an amazing bonus. Perfect for sepia, too.
Lovely pictures. Looks like an old photo. Great job.
Very well done, Carletta.
Cool truck even without the giant tree in it's back end.
I love the old truck. You did a great job with the picture.
Oh I like that old truck and I like the photo transformation! Thank you for visiting & commenting on my blog.
What a quaint looking truck. Nice choice for a sepia scene.
Love the truck. Great photo for Sepia.
Great contrast of the truck with the sepia. I wonder, was the original color of the truck yellow?
That truck delivers a beautiful tree :)
It's like travelling in time!
I love the bows and the wreath on it as well! Great find, Carletta!
What a great find - perfect for sepia! Gorgeous tree too.
PS I played around with my raindrop photo again - come see :).
Oh this is lovely! That truck is AWESOME!!
I like it! Did you see what make of truck it was?
Carletta, that is SO unusual - the trees STANDING in the truck instead of laying down with that netting you usually see them wrapped in. But how interesting and lovely! Great sepia job! :)
Very nice shot! It looks like it was taken from 1950 era! ;)
What a fun photo Carletta! So very festive for Christmas and such a vintage look it could have been done years ago! It works very well in sepia!
Carletta: Very nice capture and nice post work on the photo, certainly inspiring.
Oh, what a fantastic find and great sepia shot!!
Oh so nice! I love the effect on this!
