Some days it’s tough to get a handle on everything one has to do. There are things that need to be done, things that have to be done, and the inevitable things that most of us would just like to do. It all needs put into perspective and sorted out to decide just what the course of action will be.
Where do you go to clear your mind and reflect on how and what you will get done in a day’s time? A lot of times for me it’s in the shower that I sort things out. First thing in the morning a nice warm shower wakes me up and gets my mind going. I can slowly wake up and think about the day and get my grip on reality. It works just as well at the end of the day too. Nothing like a hot shower to say I did what I could, it felt good, and tomorrow I’ll pick up where I left off.
Yep, a cleansing of the body and a little reflection of the soul.

Showers are one of the things that are very high on my gratitude list. I always think what a blessing and luxury it is to live in a land where water - clean water for bathing and drinking - is so abundant for us. Cool shower curtain.
Your bathroom is lovely! Like Raven, I never take a shower without gratitude. In my younger years I was homeless for awhile and the thing I missed the most was being clean -- or at least feeling clean, since I did sponge bathe daily.
Thanks for playing Reflect This. I hope you continue to enjoy yourself with the theme.
I love the way your bathroom looks. That would be a great place for reflecting.
This is just a reflective post all the way around! I agree - the shower is a good place for it. I've even been known to write compose poetry in the shower! Thank you for this reflection!
Carletta: Very cool shower curtain.
Beautiful bathroom and I love that curtain! Great photo for the theme.
beautiful bathroom... really looks like a place to reflect :)
and yes, letting the water cleanse your body and mind is great therapy
BOy can I relate to this post. Even though I'm retired now,I still am fighting for time to do all I want. There has never been nor will ever be enough time for me. I know we all have the same hours in a day. But we all have priorities. Peggy from PA
All around a nice reflective post on the problems in life and how to ease them. I liked it very much.
Really liked what you had to say on this one...I could babble on and on about it, but I'll just tell you I liked it a lot and leave it at that ;)
Wow! What an interesting shower curtain, Carletta! lovely bathroom! :)
I'm playing catch up. I knew your bathroom would be like this...gorgeous and homey. Gosh you are a busy bee here with all this beautiful photography! I'm must make time for more reading! I think I'll take a shower now....
