While out capturing yesterday's sunset post I noticed the lilies by one of the ponds were blooming and I snapped this photo at near sunset. Be sure to click on this one to enlarge and find the little surprise on the single petal to the left. He's a very light color so look closely.
Yesterday after a hard pouring storm the daylily looks almost like crepe paper.
This is the same lily in the first photo but after the rain. I was surprised by the pond reflection on the right when I downloaded this last night. I assure you it was a pure accident; but I was very pleased.No matter where you are today I hope your skies are filled with sunny skies and not a raindrop in sight!

I spied the little translucent spider in the first photo -- and the drowned beetle in the second. I thought all of your shoots were remarkable in their detail.
You know, until I accidentally stumbled into this world of photo blogs, I was completely content with my point and shoot. Now I am NOT.

The pond reflection is a nice, even if only accidentally done, touch to the lilly photo. Everything looks refreshed.

These are so delicate and lovely -- and the detail is great! I love how the dark background of the first image really makes the subject "pop."
The rain on the pink lily looks very refreshing. Also thought your squirrels a few posts back were cute.

They are sooooo pretty! I used to have some of those pink ones... but now all I have are the bright orange ones that nobody can kill!
