Since I was posting the above image today for Wordless Wednesday I thought it might just be the perfect day to acknowledge some awards I was given from some very gracious blogging friends and "Hand Out" some of my own. You see how well that photo up there fits in!Shelly passed along the You Make Me Smile Award saying I was an inspiration to her and I was just plain nice. That's enough of an award for me and I told her so but I thank her for her generous spirit.
I'm going to pass this along to Debbie and Judi. Debbie leaves me laughing out loud most days and Judi and I read a lot of the same blogs. I love it when she gets to one first so I can read the humorous comments she leaves others.
Shelly also presented me with the Super Commenter Award and then Quilly came right along behind her and bestowed it to me as well. I'm just not a look and go girl. I have to stop, smell the roses, and tell you what I think about them. So, yes, I comment A LOT! I'm passing this to Raven because she is here daily almost as soon as I post and to Fishing Guy who has been a loyal commenter since day one. Then, there's Rose. Rose and I have come to know that we both like the same simple things that make up rural life in America and we tell each other that almost on a daily basis about what we've each posted.

It seems when blog awards go around they all come at once! Twice this week I was notified of receiving the above award. My friends Fishing Guy and Debbie from NC graciously bestowed this one. I thank you both. I'm not so sure my blog is brilliant; but I do hope it is at least shiny!This is one of those awards that always comes with rules. I'm breaking the rules and will list for you some blogs I sincerely think really are brilliant. I would not put myself in the same league as these. My blog is what it is and I do thank Fishing Guy and Debbie for the nod to brilliant and will continue to strive toward that endeavor.
