Project Blue. Take Eleven. The Finale

We'll start with a little blue window.
We'll add a little blue door.
Oh, Look! It's a Hobbit House!

At least I was looking for Frodo and Sam!!

This little house sits at an intersection just outside downtown Parkersburg. I think it's a wonderful advertisement for the real estate company that sits behind it. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. It's only since Project Blue that I really focused on its blue trimmings. It was so cute the color never really mattered. But now, I'm more than happy that it's blue. However, I've stopped three times this past week trying to get just the right photos!!!

Today is my last post for Project Blue. Anna's projects are always a great source of fun and learning as well. Anna, thank you for another successful adventure.

I hope Tolkien would forgive my little literary license of his words:

In the Land of Carson where the angles lie.
One Color to rule them all, One Color to find them,
One Color to bring them all and in the project bind them
In the Land of Carson where the angles lie.

The door to Project Blue is closed and we're outta here!

My gosh. Finale. A closed window. A closed door. And an exit sign. It REALLY is over, isn't it? If it weren't clear before, now it sure is! Thanks for some wonderful blues to close it out. It's been fun!

Great wrap up post, especially the borrowed and bent verse. Love the little house -- I want to peek inside.

Think Tolkein would approve. The analogy wit the closed doors and windows was spot on.

Neat stuff but blue isn't my favorite color. I like red.

Great blues... you have captured the color well in these photos.

Thanks for you comment on the unicorns. What a lovely story about your Granddaughter. I think that is absolutely adorable. Perhaps it will be something she will start to collect too! =)

Carletta, thanks for the visit. I have 4 of those old blue glass Vick's bottles, and there is one on the far left of the photo you referred to. It wasn't in front of the glass, so no light was shining through it (or you'd have known what it was). I love them!

I love your hobbit house!

I love your verse!

Saw it on Anna's and was then delighted to run across it again here.

I'm trying so hard to see everyone's finale!

Love the house.

These are great shots of the little hobbit house, but the poem is pure genius! :)

Love the exit sign, too. You're so clever.
