We'll start with a little blue window.
We'll add a little blue door.
We'll add a little blue door.
At least I was looking for Frodo and Sam!!
This little house sits at an intersection just outside downtown Parkersburg. I think it's a wonderful advertisement for the real estate company that sits behind it. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. It's only since Project Blue that I really focused on its blue trimmings. It was so cute the color never really mattered. But now, I'm more than happy that it's blue. However, I've stopped three times this past week trying to get just the right photos!!!
Today is my last post for Project Blue. Anna's projects are always a great source of fun and learning as well. Anna, thank you for another successful adventure.
I hope Tolkien would forgive my little literary license of his words:
In the Land of Carson where the angles lie.
One Color to rule them all, One Color to find them,
One Color to bring them all and in the project bind them
In the Land of Carson where the angles lie.
One Color to rule them all, One Color to find them,
One Color to bring them all and in the project bind them
In the Land of Carson where the angles lie.
The door to Project Blue is closed and we're outta here!

I love it! It just looks so clean and ship-shape! Glad you shared it!
My gosh. Finale. A closed window. A closed door. And an exit sign. It REALLY is over, isn't it? If it weren't clear before, now it sure is! Thanks for some wonderful blues to close it out. It's been fun!
When I see these blue doors I think of holidays ! you find them everywhere in Southern Spain and on the Canarian Islands (Spain) Nice way to start my day !
What a cute place and i just love that blue
What a wonderful finale. I love the little house with its blue trim and the exit only sign is a perfect close. Thanks for lots of creative and entertaining blues.
:), I am getting back in the swing of things. Next project? Sorry I missed Blue, Anna has such cool ones. Love this little hobbit house. Good job and you are settling in to retirement just fine, your writing is getting better and more creative each week.
Great wrap up post, especially the borrowed and bent verse. Love the little house -- I want to peek inside.
Think Tolkein would approve. The analogy wit the closed doors and windows was spot on.
Neat stuff but blue isn't my favorite color. I like red.
Beautiful finale!! lovely house and pretty pictures.
I am ready for the next project!!
Perfect!
Great blues... you have captured the color well in these photos.
Thanks for you comment on the unicorns. What a lovely story about your Granddaughter. I think that is absolutely adorable. Perhaps it will be something she will start to collect too! =)
Mountain Retreat
Fabulous ending to Project Blue!
Carletta: Cool finish to your project blue. I like the house and the exit sign.
Oh! I think we need that little house for Luz! HOW MUCH??? Well... okay... maybe a dryer box will work instead! LOL! That IS just adorable! Love the exit sign too! PERFECT ending!
Can I save for the 100th time how creative you are? Geez....in awe!
You and the others did a fantastic job on Project Blue!! Congratulations :)
P.S. Usually Exit signs are red. Only you would find this one!!

Ah, I love blue and love your photos. I'm popping in from the fishing guy's blog. I'll pop in again sometime.
Nice work.
Jo
wow, you did an extra one!
i so love these blue doors and windows... it's just a perfect way to end the project!
A blue exit sign is a fitting end.
I love the little house.
Carletta, thanks for the visit. I have 4 of those old blue glass Vick's bottles, and there is one on the far left of the photo you referred to. It wasn't in front of the glass, so no light was shining through it (or you'd have known what it was). I love them!
I love your hobbit house!
Love all these...I did share your verse on my blog with a link to you! Thanks for all your creativity on these projects! It sure has been fun!
I love your verse!
Saw it on Anna's and was then delighted to run across it again here.
I'm trying so hard to see everyone's finale!
Love the house.
These are great shots of the little hobbit house, but the poem is pure genius! :)
Love the exit sign, too. You're so clever.
Great post on the exit sign...very clever! You're right, I do spend hours and hours weeding...keeps me out of trouble ;)
I had to tell you this was a great post and I loved the way you made a story out of it. I love those blue doors! I think I'll go get my paint brush.
