Camera-Critters Sunday

***Keep Scrolling for Project Blue***

Camera-Critters Sunday is hosted by Misty Dawn at Misty's Musings. Each Sunday we post our favorite critter. You never know what you'll find. Click on the link to see who's participating and take a trip to the petting zoo without ever leaving home!

I took the photos below in sequence. The deer wandered into my yard Friday evening about five o'clock.

A Deer Tale

Just A Few Tasty Nibbles
I See You Watching Me
Maybe I Should Go
I Really Don't Want To
Maybe If I Hide That Camera Lady Won't See Me
I stood on my front porch and she didn't seem to mind although she kept an eye on me. She was pretty content until noise from the adjacent road scared her and she trotted into the nearby woods behind her. Just another day here Round The Bend.

Yes, lovely. and yours, like mine, just seemed to be watchful, do their own thing before wandering off.

I love this series of photos. I especially like the shot where the deer is peeking at you from behind the tree. Thanks for sharing!

I saw a deer yesterday in the road on the way to yard sale. I slowed down and threw contents of purse all over to get camera. He must have heard me! Ran into the woods!

Bambi loves the camera and you!

Beautiful :)

Great shots of the deer! And great captions! I don't usually see them around here unless they are crossing a road in front of (thankfully) my car. Or I discover what they've eaten!

I'm glad you got to photograph the deer. They are my favorite animal. I am on friendly terms with a large herd of them that have totally accepted me. I spend most mornings and evenings watching and photographing them. I intend to post some young fawn pictures in the near future.

Hopefully this doe will return with her young so that you can enjoy seeing and photographing them!
