M is for Mother's Day Photos

My daughter knew she wouldn't be with me on Mother's Day so one evening when I was visiting that week she brought home a bouquet of balloons. They traveled 500 miles coming home with me last week and are still floating with love in my sunroom where I can see them everyday as I sit and explore blogland.
Along with the balloons she gave me four pink rose buds. One bud for each member of her family - Cindy, Edgar, Baby Lily, and Winston - the Cat! Look closely. I will have these forever because they are wooden!
These beautiful tulips arrived in a box Friday. My son, Chris, had sent in these in time for Mother's Day on Sunday. You never know how flowers you order will turn out; but you can see that these are just beautiful!
M is for Mom
This is my Mom! I took this Sunday after dinner at my house. My brother and his family were here as well. Because I had lived in another state for many years it was the first time in many years that my brother and I were both with my Mom for Mother's Day. In the photo with her is my stepdad Frank. My father passed away over ten years ago and afterwards Mom met Frank and you can see how happy they are together. For those of you who have mentioned that looking at my profile picture I look too young to be retired you can see I got good genes from my Mom. She will be 73 years old the end of this month! I love you Mom!

Beautiful photos, Carletta! You're so lucky your Mom is still alive. I wish her cent'anni which means 100 years more in Italian.
