From The Ground Up - Day Three

Can You Hear Me Now?

This tower is certainly up there. I took this yesterday from the park that is on a hillside above downtown. A couple of the picnic tables were full of families having a bite to eat and enjoying the day. I'm guessing that even though they were away from home they certainly could stay in touch by cell phone! I would not want to be the guy who climbs to the top to fix anything that's wrong. Would you?
I know there's one of these near you; so pick up that phone and call somebody - tell them you love them, it will make their day!

This is day three of a project hosted by JFargo at My World In Pictures. For ten days we are posting photos with the theme "From The Ground Up." If you're interested it's not too late to join in on the fun!

Fishing Guy has great taste! I always find something of value at your blog.

You have good taste, too ---

Yay for Melli! Insanity Prevails is another of my favorite places.

Just looking at the photo of this tower makes me dizzy. I've no wish to climb it!

I used to work with a girl whose husband did climb these things! I could have did it when I was young but sure not now!

That's a great shot and excellent idea for this theme!! I've been noticing these towers more and more, but every time I shoot straight up I feel like I'm going to fall backwards, so I've stayed away from shooting them. LOL

Your phone is ringing!

So Fishing Guy beat me to it! If Foolery had commented back to me on this award thingy and how to find them and how to make them...I would have beaten him!

You're getting one from me to in the future LOL!

I just got back from playing with camera so I can get out of the dirt. I saw a few towers on my excursion. Good job girl!! And if it broke, it'd stay broke...no climb!

No, I wouldn't like to be the one climbing to the top to fix anything! I wouldn't like my husband to be the one either, lol!
Very interesting picture for the theme. I just had to join the project, it has been so much fun playing with the camera!

Once I would have climbed it but not any more. Now you can't even get me on a ladder.

Ah yes, what would we do w/o our cell phones? I forgot mine a couple of weeks ago when leaving for work and I felt naked, out of touch with the world. Then I wondered how I ever made it through life w/o them. They rate right up there with the remote control, cruise control, and the mute button. :)

I'm glad you found another challenge. I'm taking a break from thinking about pictures. But that doesn't mean I'm stopping to post them! Good reminder about calling loved ones. That reminds me I need to call my aunt. Take good care!
