Isn't she beautiful! This house sits on a fairly busy street across from the local city park. I remember the house from my childhood days. We would often visit my Aunt who used to live around the corner and down the block from this old treasure. It hasn't always had decorative red accents and has been remodeled somewhat since those days. The fountain to the left was added a few years ago. Most times I 'go into town' as I did today I pass by and think how elegent it looks sitting in the middle of the city. I look at the wrap-around porch and imagine pitchers of lemonade sitting on the tables and friends sitting in the wicker chairs enjoying each other's company just passing time. Sitting in one of the rockers with a good book or just with eyes closed listening to the water fall in the fountain would also be a pleasurable existence for an hour or so. And what about those turrets - I wonder what's behind the windows in those spaces. It's fun to daydream anyway!
