1. I am a Grandma! Introducing Sarah Marie. She was born last Thursday. She weighed 8lbs. 3oz. and was 20.75 inches long.
2. She has a head full of hair. You can't really tell in the photo but she looks like she went to the salon and had her hair highlighted. I have never seen anything like it. When her Daddy was born he had a full head of hair as well.
Her Daddy's baby pic.
(apologies that it didn't scan well)
3. Actually, Sarah is my fourth grandchild and the third girl. She joins her cousins Lily (age 6) and Lucy (age 4). They are my daughter's daughters.
4. My only grandson is Sarah's big brother Sam. Here he meets his little sister for the first time. From that moment he referred to her as 'my baby.' So cute!
5. Once you see your own child hold one of their own it all comes full circle and you realize what it truly means to be a Grandma. Even though little Sarah is number four she is just as special as all the rest. I am truly blessed.
Linking with Nancy for Random 5 Friday.
Carletta, this is wonderful. You are indeed blessed! Beautiful and precious photos.
