After The Rain

We've had rain for five of the past six days. However, last Thursday evening just before sunset the rain began ceasing and the sun shone brightly and we were rewarded with a big beautiful rainbow.

Of course I had the wrong lens on the camera and couldn't get a wide shot but there wasn't time to change it.
Rainbows don't wait!

So beautiful. Again our karma. I took a rainbow shot just yesterday as well. But an iPhone doesn't have a choice of lenses. :) Excellent.

Beautiful! You are so right, rainbows don't wait. I missed one a few days ago just going inside to grab my camera.

Beautiful--and no they don't wait!

(You need a second camera body...so you can keep one lens on one and the other on the other..)

I like how the rainbow seems to separate the darker side from the lighter side. Your shots are lovely.

Yup -- you've got to grab those rainbows as soon as they show up -- and you grabbed it beautifully.

Shoot as soon as you see one, rainbows are like that only.
Great captures.

Beautiful rainbow capture, even if you didn't get the entire bow! I like the contrast between the pastels in the sky and rainbow with the darkness of the trees.

Rainbows come in all shapes and sizes and any rainbow is a joy to behold. Yours is so deliciously gentle.

I tried to email you but it bounced back with a message saying the account didn't exist. :\

So glad to hear your beautiful little granddaughters are visiting. Thank you for leaving comments, I know the girls are keeping you busy! How are your knees holding up with the extra activity?

I really wanted to comment on the next photo with the waterdrops, but I can't find the commentbox! That photo has so much detail, it's crystal clear, I love it!
