"SHOW ME"
This is day three of Robert's "Show Me" photo project and since it's Tuesday it is time for Mary's Ruby Tuesday. Being the multi-tasker I try to be I'm combining my post today to try and satisfy both memes. Today Robert asked us to show our front door. Well, I participated in a door meme last week and posted my front door. (Here) I hope you'll check it out so you can see the whole door plus a faded ruby red gate. Something different and creative had to happen for Robert's project so I'm showing a new fall rug with some fall chrysanthmums in a burgandy red. Of course Heidi wanted to see what was going on. You should know she won't be meeting you at the door. She is our resident hermit or 'hider' when any company comes. You'll have to peek at her in the corner of the bedroom closet when you visit.

Gorgeous flowers once again... I like your new rug inside the door and of course the cute kitty standing on it.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I'm going to do about front doors and Ruby Tuesday or anything else. Procrastinating until tomorrow. Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow....
Heidi looks like she can't decide if she wants to come in or out...which is very typical of our cats. Only they are usually looking in and you open the door and either they stand there or they turn away. I told my husband they want us to come out and play.
ReplyDeletepped in to enjoy the music, and give the kitty a hug! See you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Carletta!
Fantastic and amazing colours.
ReplyDeleteAs usual.
Carletta: What great close-ups of the flowers.
ReplyDeleteQuite a collection. That's one way to kill a cat. Pappy
ReplyDeleteLove the stripes in your rug that match the lovely mums. You took great pics of the mums.
ReplyDeleteThe ruby-red chrysanthemums are to die for! Happy Ruby Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteLove your striped rug and the cute kitty!! I am catsitting the neighbors' Siamese lady who won't eat until she gets her backrub...a very sociable kitty, who loves company because that means new laps to conquer for more rubs!
ReplyDeleteYour ruby red chrysanthemum are gorgeous!!!
Hi Carletta, we like your purty red flowers. I could sneak in there and sniff around.
ReplyDeleteHeidi looks like a nice cat, my sister, Amber, lives with Mom. (I live with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Mrs. Jim.)
Amber hides under the bed when someone comes. She can never go out because she doesn't have any front claws to defend herself. ;-)
..
Be sure to come see what Jim did, he made me sit on a berm by some red bushes just for his blog today.
..
Just great ruby pictures!!
ReplyDeleteFlowers are AMAZING!

I love the colors on your posting. I love the cat, and of course the music on your site. Great job.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty...the flowers, the mat, the door itself...and even the kitty...though I wouldn't be seeing him if I were there :-) Your flower shots are superb! You really do flowers well...what's your secret??
ReplyDeleteThe colors on the rug look perfect set against the charcoal cat!
ReplyDeleteThe chrysanthmums look like a dichotomy: the shot makes it look massive yet the petals look frail and delicate even in the bold RED!
Nice pictures, as always. Happy Ruby Tuesday!
I liked the door last week and still like it. I see your cat likes it too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, and the entrance is so welcoming!
ReplyDeleteVery nice RT.
ReplyDeleteI love how you combined projects here! What great shades of red. Please thank Heidi for participating in our little project here. :)
