Project Black: Take Eight

SMILE!

Many of you know that before I went running from the work force I taught computers to students from kindergarten through fifth grade. This was the coffee cup that sat on my desk every morning. Even on trying days it made me smile. Hope it brings a smile to your face today as you begin your day. Be careful out there everybody and have a great day - with plenty of smiles!!!
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Project Black is hosted by Anna at Anna Carson Photography.

I love this mug. What a great thing to have to get you through the day. Of course it's better if it's filled. I've got a bit of a thing for coffee too if you didn't notice. Nice shots tonight. :)

I love it! It not only made me smile, it made me laugh. I have a cup from Despair, Inc.com (mentioned in my Monday post that even you and Dianne, my two most faithful readers missed) that reads has a half way mark that says "this mug is half empty." I don't particularly recommend the post. It was long and weird, but I do recommend Despair, Inc.com. But I'm rambling mindlessly. I love your cup. :-) .

This made me smile too! Kinders are so much fun! Do you know that for 3 years my husband had the same job you did? K-5 computers. Now he teaches college students computer sci.

It did make me smile!! I need my coffee in the morning too, I'm having a cup right now! I love the previous picture too, with the road sign! You're so lucky to have deer visiting your garden!!!

Oh! I would drink coffee from that mug! And it makes a great Project Black photo-- the frowny face even sets the mood!

I can't believe you are ever like the top mug. Those mugs would describe me "before kids" and "after teaching the kids". :)

Great mug! I used to have one that had Carpe Diem (Sieze The Day) on it...a good reminder as I tried to wake up enough to do it. :-)

THAT is sooooooo cute - and I had NO idea you taught computer! I always thought that was the best class to teach! The kids were ALWAYS happy to be there... didn't matter what they were working on!

Answer to two questions:

1. I do not believe the wine was Yellowtail... unless Yellowtail comes from Germany! I don't remember what the wine was called - but I know she had brought it from Germany - and it was GOOD!

2. The red drums ARE Pearls! Yes indeed! :)

What an adorable and so appropriate mug for your classes! And it's black and white! Dear, you must PLAN these things LOL!

I can imagine you as a wonderful and patient teacher, but glad you're not still doing it. You wouldn't have time to blog and we'd miss your gorgeous pictures and great stories!

I was just sitting here with a forlorn look on my face, feeling like c**p, and I suddenly realized I haven't have my coffee yet!! This is a true story!

Great post, thanks for the reminder.

It certainly did make me smile. Someone close to me called me too early in the morning a few days ago...after a couple of minutes they said "I'll call you back after you're had your coffee" - hey...that's what they get for breaking the rules and calling too early. ;)
