Carletta, your photos are lovely! I really like the one in your header. It reminds me of my only time in WV. We were traveling from Michigan to Williamsburg VA one May, and I was stunned by the beauty of WV. So green, and there were slim trees growing out of the rocks alongside the road, and it was raining, simply gorgeous!

Good photograph and quote! Looks like the fence is in good repair! A couple years ago we took out some old barbed wire fences at a neighbor's place; it can be a lot of work to roll up and take out.

No, the hat is mine. I just put it on the post.
We usually go to this spot for fall color but went too late this year and most of the leaves had fallen. I needed a little something so I used my hat. :)
