Saturday's Critters: Foxy and Chippy

 There he was in March.

 There he was in April.

I know some folks think they are pesky little critters;  but I do love watching them play in my yard and even steal the walnuts from the trees. They occasionally sneak up on the deck for a bite of bird seed but not often. They run and scamper in the woods that surround us and it's perfectly ok with me.
"Foxy" has a safe place to eat and play.

 Meet Chippy.

As far as I know Chippy lives under the oak tree in the back yard. There are posts forming a flower bed around the tree and I see him peeking out from under them.

He took his turn sneaking up on the deck as well. He didn't mind the mess the birds had made or the fact that the deck needs pressure washed after this very long winter.

Although squirrels can be be very naughty, they ARE cute (at least I think so) and certainly entertaining.

Cute photos --but I'm not a fan of either of those critters... I would just as soon they go to someone else's yard --and dig up the flowerbeds, the bulbs, and eat the birdseed.... Gads...

Ha ha.... Have a great weekend on this gorgeous spring day.
Hugs,
Betsy

As long as these critters don't mess with my house they are welcome. They can run around my yard and entertain me.

Loved these Carletta, two of my favorites. Saw my first chippy on the deck three days ago. Have a great Sunday :)

I think they are cute but I only encounter them in the mountains. They don't live in town.

I never see chipmunks...they're so cute. I don't garden really, so I can just completely enjoy watching squirrels antics.

They are adorable and fun to watch, but they sure can make a mess on a patio.

Squirrels are definitely fun, and the chipmunks so cute! I know they wreak havoc with bird feeders sometimes, but like you I still love them! Great photos!

I agree with you about the squirrels...people complain of them getting their birdseed and I always throw it on the ground till they don't have to works so hard to get it.
