'One Ring to rule them all.
One Ring to find them.
One Ring to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them.'
~ The Lord of the Rings
This week's tune at Kathy's Song-ography is One Is The Loneliest Number by Three Dog Night.
Frodo sets out from the Shire on a quest to return the Ring. He believes he must do it alone. In the end his faithful companion Sam stays with him and accompanies Frodo on the last leg of his journey.
One good friend can make life's journey loneliness free.

Well done. I must read some of that series again.
I agree wholeheartedly with your last sentence, Carletta!
What a very cool interpretation, Carletta! And your photo is stunning!
Shut the front door - LOVE this take on the song!!!!
a nice take.
Love your last statement, and this is so so true! Great shot and love your interpretation on this.
Imaginative interpretation on this song - and yes, on life's journey, it is far better to accept the company of a loved one (friend or family or both).
A fine close of this pretty ring. Interesting.
Wonderful sentiments. You must have some lucky friends.
That's a great take on this theme! We watched the whole series recently and Frodo wouldn't have made it without the help of his friends. Nice image :)
Awesome! Love what you did with the prompt!
