The little titmouse from last week that hung around our bay window and was definitely in love with its reflection has continued to stay around in the weigela bush underneath the window but only every now and then with just a quick look and then it's gone.
Sometimes he sits atop the hook that is used to hang the suet feeder. As you can see he still serenades us.
Poor Heidi is constantly distracted with the goings on in the window. This window holds her bed where she likes to lay in the sunshine. She has always been an inside kitty and this is as close to a bird as she's ever been. After a few days she would simply look up and check out the noise and then duck her head beneath her paws and go back to sleep.

Poor kitty....he tawt he taw a titmouse.
What lovely bird shots. (Hope they are safe!)
Carletta your photography is so good. Capturing a flittering bird is so hard well done. The cats whiskers as well.
too cute! even she couldn't stand to watch reruns! :)
your shots of the titmouse are wonderful!
The titmouse is so adorable! Beautiful photos. Glad Heidi is safely inside your home, though I know she must be itching to get out.
The actions of some critters is really strange. I would think he thinks he sees another bird. At any rate they supply you with some entertainment.
Heidi is lovely! The birds are delightful!
Such a sweet little bird! Precious capture of Heidi!
Great photos, nice bird, cute cat!
Well done!
But the birds keep her busy. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Poor Kitty! She's had to learn that some things are just out of reach! Great photos.
Carletta, cute shots of the Titmouse. They are sweet birds. Funny shot of your kitty. Have a happy day!
Yje titmouse is very cute. I had to smile when I first saw the photo of Heidi. She looks quite frustrated but I'm glad she's on the other side of the windows from the birds.
I love the shot of your cat it's beautiful, lovely bird shots too.
Great shots! I love the second one!
Beautiful pictures of this wonderful bird. Kitty is very interested!
Love that photo of your kitty looking up and concentrating on that bird out there. What a wonderful picture!!!!
Great pictures also of your titmouse.. We have them --but they are so quick, it's hard to get a photo.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love the intent gaze of the cat. Your pictures are fantastic as always.
That first photo is just so on the money, Carletta. Perfect background for the colors in this bird. In the second one is such a good view of the head especially so we can see the markings easily. And Heidi has that psycho look going, doesn't she? Chuckling over this one.
the titmouse is soo adorable. Your cat seems to agree. :)
I wonder if your titmouse has found a mate so doesn't need to keep looking at himself so much? Nice pose and shot you took.
I may be the opposite of love! If its a male bird, it may think its a rival!
Nice shots.
Cheers - and thanks for linking to WBW - Stewart M
Poor frustrated cat must be dreaming about his wild ancestors.
Lovely shots!
So sweet it is! First photo is excellent!
Greetings Pia
Love the birds, naturally, but Heidi...her portrait today just blows me away. What a GREAT image.
Lovely shots! My Katie loves to sit at the door and watch...every now and then I hear a low kittie growl, as if she thinks she could really get those birds if I let her out. (She's not an outside cat)
Lovely shots of the titmouse and your beautiful Heidi!
What a darling bird, I've never seen a titmouse before and I just love how Heidi is looking so intently at it.
Great last image..... could have been licking his lips in anticipation.
Congrats to you for keeping beautiful Heidi safe indoors and the beautiful birds safe outdoors! Crazy little titmouse, but he sure is beautiful.
What a gorgeous bird!! You've captured him nicely!
Your cat doesn't look too impressed at being kept inside!
