Scavenger Hunt

This week for Scavenger Hunt all five prompts are photographer's choice. So, I'm picking five photos that I've taken this week. We've been busy redoing our flowerbeds so all photos are of the homegrown variety. Click on the first photo and enjoy the slideshow!

ONE
A Straw Plant

TWO
A Peony

THREE
A frog on the lily pad in our pond.
The lily that bloomed just a few days later.

FOUR
The bloom from a tulip poplar tree. I have two of these trees in my yard.

 FIVE
The basket of mums hubby surprised me with for Mother's Day.
A macro shot I took yesterday.

Linking to Scavenger Hunt and Macro Monday.

Gorgeous photos. I love them all. Those mums are beautiful. Did you plant them outside?

Peonies are so pretty... Don't know why I've never had any...

That first photo is exceptional. The lighting is perfect.

Wonderful set. The straw flower is gorgeous. I bought my mom a pink one this year.
Loved the darling little frog and the lily was quite beautiful.
So many pretty flowers. We have Tulip Trees here in WW but mostly the pink variety. I've only seen one the color of yours once in town but don't remember where. They are so pretty but messy when the blooms drop.

I have only seen the petals of the tulip poplar after they've fallen to the ground. How pretty! Adore the little frog on the lily pad and the straw flower is so vibrant. Great set of images!
