Barn Charm

This is looking up the embankment beside the road toward the barn.
The side of the barn.
The charming part!

Neat barn quilt! I've never seen one on a hay barn before either. I guess they are becoming popular on any type of building.

the quilt square draws our attention to the barn. Then things get interesting a we look at all the details. Your shots give a whole story.

I love that someone took the time and patience to create this work of art for this treasured old barn! Wonderful photos, Carletta. xx

Beautiful square...I am always in awe of people who take the time to decorate their utilitarian buildings. (When I can barely hang a picture on the wall inside my house ;>)

Lovely barn shots Carletta. The quilt design is a pretty feature of some of these places. I don't get to see too many of those.

I love when I see the quilt patterns on sides of barns I wish I knew more about why they are there.
Sorry I made you cry. I am happy as my Mom is happy:) B

A very lovely quilt square, certainly boosts her up, although with all those hay bales, she's still quite charming!

A real beauty of a hay barn, there, Carletta! I'm thinking the lil critters around there have a nice warm place to live inside there! LoL!

Thank you =)

The fancy quilt square is quite the contrast to the barn!

This is a fine barn and presented with some very good pictures. I like the quilt pattern as a decoration.

Love that little spark of creative color!

How great the way this barn is built to follow the lay of the land--those smart farmers. Especially appreciated the perspective you chose to shoot from in the first photo. It really emphasizes your quilt focal point.

The quilt square is the perfect touch to that falling apart old barn. Makes it look loved.

I really like this...and I didn't think I had missed any of your posts. I don't see how I missed this.

I had a friend that had a screened in front porch...she drew one of these on her floor and painted it and sealed it. (this is Mariner's Compass--never mind...just looked back and see that you know that) Anyway, it was really nice.
