Wild Bird Wednesday

'Are you looking at me?'
Not sure if he was shy or making a statement.  :)

Probably just saying, "I'm outta here!"
We don't have mocking birds so interesting to see.

Well, the things you learn.
I loved the movie "To Kill A Mockingbird", but had no idea what the bird looked like. We don't have mocking birds in Australia, well not the "feathered variety" -ha ha.
I think if I did see one of these birds on trips to the US, I probably thought it was a "sparrow".
Many thanks for the "bird" lesson.
Cheers

Weather report: 8.15am Wednesday, 13th. June.
Presently sunny, like yesterday morning. But OMG, thankfully I got home from Toowong before the heavens and hell opened up.It bucked down and then sunny for the rest of the afternoon!!! Weird.

Ha ha! He probably knew you'd put him on your blog!
I didn't know what a mockingbird looked like either until now.
Thanks for sharing these lovely photos Carletta.

Hi there - nice picture. Just goes to show that you don’t have to be bright red to look good.

I've never seen a mocking bird either. I'm glad to know what they look like. And how nice of him to show you both sides.
