Regular readers know I recently spent a weekend at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park in West Virginia. While there Hubs and I drove on up the mountain to the Snowshoe Ski Resort. Of course it was too early for snow but we enjoyed the views and the sky above us. Click on this first photo and scroll through the skies we enjoyed that evening. This second shot was taken seventeen minutes after the first one. Amazing how the colors and the mood can change so quickly.
As I turned to look behind me I saw the moon floating in a lovely field of blue.Twenty-four minutes after the first shot above this was the sunset we witnessed over the West Virginia Mountains - the words "Almost Heaven" seemed appropriate.
