Project 64: Out of the Box - White

The color out of the crayon box this week was one we didn't have to think too hard about. The extra challenge was to photograph white on white. That turned out to be harder than I expected. The above macro of egg shells is my official entry this week because it most closely fits the white on white challenge.
I liked this one for the natural light shining through the dining room window. .
I didn't like the white plastic cartons because they were just so shiny and smooth. I really liked the texture of the gray paper cartons so I painted one.
Little bits of shells.
One last attempt.
Bring your crayons and come join us here.
Since all of these are macro shots I'm joining Macro Monday.

I love that you painted the carton...soooo something I would have done! As I look at these photos, I keep thinking, "she needs to make a diptych with a fluffy little chick!" LOL! Loving your blog and your encouraging comments!

I love how clean your whites are. Broken egg shells are anything but clean. Nice job.

Wow! I'd never have thought that white on white could look so good.

What a great series of shots. I'm another fan of the painted egg carton, but my favorite is the second one. I think it qualifies for white on white as well.

Love this! I like the texture the cracked eggs have that you don't get with uncracked eggs.

I was wondering were you found a white carton like that! Very creative idea to paint it! They all turned out great, but the top three are my favorites, I like the shadows in the second one. Thanks for sharing and linking up with project 64!
