LEM Photo Challenge: Orange

This week's photo challenge over at Live Every Moment is orange. I fully expect to see lots of images of oranges in one form or another. I had oranges in my fridge and believe me it certainly crossed my mind. I had hoped to find something different and Ms. Cardinal sitting on a limb and waiting for her turn at the bird feeder gave me a perfectly natural orange to capture. Unlike her counterpart, the bright red male, her brightest feature is her orange beak. She became my orange inspiration this week.
To join in the challenge visit Tara here.

She's perfectly posed with her orange bill! Glad you caught her. Knowing you, if you'd taken pictures of the oranges in your frig, they'd have been the prettiest oranges I ever saw. But I'm glad you took the cardinal, because I don't ever see any of those here.

She is very proud of her orange beak. A great shot too.
I should submit a pic of my favourite football team. Their shirts are orange and they play in the grand final on Sunday.

This is so pretty. It makes me wish for a zoom lens.

What a spectacular orange beak. I stands out nicely against the cold snowy winter background.

Ya know my 1st thought was to photograph things that were orange (not the fruit) - then I decided to go with the juice and fruit. Ha to me doing that was going outside of the box. LOL I suppose that proves I am not right. hehehe

Thanks so much for stopping over and leaving such wonderful and encouraging comments!

Wonderful shot. I can never get good bird pictures, so I'm always impressed by those who can. Good job.

Love it! I have been trying to capture a big red cardinal all winter long and have not been able to do it. Great capture.

Beautiful photos. I love the stairs and tea cup the best.
Thanks for stopping by earlier this week. I am late getting around visiting as usual! I seem to barely find time to blog, and then feel bad that I don't visit!
