Midweek Blues: Lacy Wings

If you've visited my photoblog you've seen my green dragonfly that sat still more willingly for his portrait. Mr. Blue was rather flighty and as a result his moment of fame is a little blurrier capture.
The focus fell more on the left side of his wings. I hope you'll enlarge the image to see the lacy pattern. Nature is indeed truly beautiful in the smallest of details.

It's so beautiful in blue! The blurry wing lines are barely noticeable...

I love dragonflies and this one is particlarly lovely. I did enlarge it, but you can actually see the lacy wings fairly well in the smaller format. Great picture.

I love the contrast of the blue dragonfly against the green leaves. So beautiful!
