Weekend Reflections

I hadn't been out searching for reflection shots this week and was afraid I wouldn't have anything to post. Late yesterday afternoon I was on my front porch washing windows and rocking chairs. Sounds mundane I know. I have four windows and four rockers so I sat in each clean rocker washing the next window and rocker so it wasn't tiring and I was able to enjoy the lovely breezy day we had. When I had finished the task I hosed down the porch getting rid of the dirty soap and water. Just before dinner time I stepped out on the porch to put everything back in place and noticed the evening sun shining on my once again clean white chairs. Then I saw the puddle that remained at one end of the porch with this lovely reflection of the evening sky and porch railings. Goes to show you that you never know when a photo opportunity will present itself to you. You just need to be ready.

OMG now that is working to get an excellent reflection like this. Very well done. It's so funny where you come up with reflection pictures. Oh and by the way, do you hire out possibly? Pay is good ROFLMAO!! Have a wonderful Friday :)

You can wash my windows also if you wish. :)

That is a neat reflection. I probably wouldn't have noticed that since I'm not very observant.

You had to work hard to get this photo, but it sure was worth it. You captured a great reflection.
By the way, we have some windows that need washing (hint, hint!!)

You did have to work hard to get this one, didn't you? I love it! What a terrific reflection! And, like the others, I have some windows that could use a little help!! Hope you have a great weekend, Carletta! Enjoy! No window washing!

Magnifique ! Le reflet est parfaitement pur et la forme de la flaquue ajoute un peu de romantisme à cette barrière ! J'aime beaucoup !

just as well you notice the reflection after working. Otherwise, if you are like me, I will sit on the rocker and enjoy the reflection and do no work. LOL

Do you suggest that we should wash something on the porch to get such nice reflections ?
This picture is very creative, so simple and so beautiful ! I first thought it was snow on one side, lol ! apparently your weren't stingy with soap !

Carletta, this is beautiful.
I think you need first to have your eyes open (as you did, and I wouldn't) and then to have the camera ready.
Just goes to show, it's worth washing the windows sometimes!!

I can just see something like this as a painting! I think it would be so lovely.

There is a special kind of romance in this photo that says so much more than merely the reflection of a porch rail. It is more like a reflection of happier times -- and definitely poetry in a picture.
