Hubs and I recently took a Saturday drive and crossed the Ohio River into nearby Marietta, Ohio. We had hoped to see some speedboat races but apparently we arrived too late. Driving around the city I spotted this train mural. I thought the train appearing as if it were coming out of the blue was perfect for Midweek Blues.

Wow---that is incredible.... It looks like a 3-D one... Someone (whoever painted that) is VERY creative.... Awesome!
Thanks for sharing.

Aren't there just some very creative people out there? I love this photo. Well done my friend :)
I like murals -- this one is excellent and once again, so is your eye for interesting sights!
Carletta, that is sooo neat! The out-of-the-blue surprise, the train mural... (if you like murals, I posted a beauty not too long ago, too.)
What a wonderful find for Mid Week Blues! Amazing.
Neat picture...it kind of looks 3D.
Did you make him late? :)
My first impression was the it was a real train. Very cool...an I do like the coming out of the blue concept here!

What a happy capture - it certainly does appear to be coming out of the blue.
Neat mural. Great shot.
That's a compelling perspective. I like the simplicity of it, that it is just a train coming out of the blue, with barely anything at its sides.
that is so cool!
That's a pretty awesome mural! Good eye to catch this! I love murals in small towns!
It really looks like coming out.
I am impressed with your header. I hope there's a place like that back home where I could run :)
I had to look again to make sure it wasn't real... loved your description of it as coming out of the blue - that's it exactly!
That is the best mural I've ever seen on a building. It looks like the train is coming right out of the wall.
My sister just moved to Marietta Ohio to live with her daughter. My niece's husband is a pastor there.
I have a mural of a train to post sometime soon, but it doesn't hold a candle to this one! Someone did an amazing job!
That's an exceptionally well done mural, Carletta!
Fabulous!
Sorry I missed this Carletta. That is an amazing mural. I love it.

I must say that is a talented artist you painted that, love the colours also. You truly do feel as though it is coming towards you.
