Coreopsis In Sepia and An Announcement

I have some coreopsis growing by my little yard pond. The day was hot and humid and the resulting image looked washed out so I converted the shot to sepia and used selective coloring to highlight the yellow bloom.

An Announcement!!!!!

This little sepia peanut is our next Grandbaby! That's right. I am going to be a Grandma for the third time and I couldn't be happier. Our son and lovely daughter-in-law are expecting their first child in November. AND....it's going to be a boy!!!
Yep, a Grandson to go along with our two lovely Granddaughters. All of us couldn't be happier!!!! For more Sepia Scenes join Mary by clicking here.

Congrats, Carletta.... SO--you are going to have a GrandSON now???? That is just so special.... I know how excited you must be.

Love what you did to the picture to make it a sepia one --and then colored in the yellow flower... NICE!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Congratulations, Carletta. Like the yellow flower, of course, but the wee blooming flower in your ultrasound image is sublime.

The flower is pretty. I love that you left it yellow against the sepia background.

Congratulations!!! Isn't it wonderful! I'm having 2 grandbabies in the fall. Amy's expecting another boy and Jill is having a girl (so I'll be backwards from you). Grandchildren are the best idea anyone ever had!

Congrats Carletta! Great news!
I've to admit I jumped down to the announcement, so now will go back to look at the sepia scenes, which I've no doubt are as lovely as your photography always is.

Congratulations, happiest sepia ever; a grandson on his way.
I'm looking forward to meeting the little fellow in November.
Only thing I really miss in our garden, is a pond. How lucky you are. Yellow flower to sepia is like flower springing out on a desert ground. One see nothing, but the beauty of the flower.

The ultrasound image looks just right in sepia. ;-)

I like what you did with the flower photo. Very pretty.

I'm back to sepia fun. I was startled to discover I missed sepia scenes for two weeks. Where does the time go?
